Hanna Hohti made her master’s degree in viola in Royal Academy of Music in London 2010 under the tuition of Garfield Jackson and Thomas Brandis. Before that she studied the Turku Music Academy with Harri Sippel.
During her London period Hohti played in the London Symphony Orchestra, the Soloist Ensemble led by Clio Gould and as a chamber musician in the Purcell Room.
Back in Finland Hohti has been the principal viola in the Tapiola Sinfonietta, and co-principal in the Finnish National Opera and the Chamber Orchestra of Lapland.
Hanna Hohti is, with Emil Holmström, Markus Hohti and Eriikka Maalismaa, a founding member of the HÄRÖ collective.
